Bio Ethanol, 95% alcohol. Perfect for Trangia burners and classic gravity fed alcohol stoves. This product doesn’t contain a colorant and the amount of Methanol or other chemicals (intended to prevent usage as consumption alcohol) is very low in this product. Therefore the smell when burning is very minimal. Also it doesn’t mess up and clog up your Trangia burner with blue pigments as when you use “Spiritus”.
Unfortunately Bio-Ethanol is sold out in many places since people are preparing for a cold winter. Increasing prices for natural gas in Europe have made people turned their interest in other fuels for home heating and cooking. Luckily we manged to get our hands on a small supply of these bottles.
Pro tip: If you are (against all advices) looking for a fuel that can be used indoors without any or with minimal smell then Aspen Alkylate fuel, the blue one, might also be a good option for you.
