Classic German piece of military engineering. Burns on white gas such as Aspen 4 or Coleman fuel. Regular automotive fuel from a pump station is also possible since there is no generator that can be clogged. ”Silent” burner type with a precise flame control. Pot holder accommodates anything from a small cup to a large pan. According to the German user instruction inside the box the maximum diameter of a pan that can be placed on the stove is 26 cm. Otherwise the fuel tank will become overheated.
Pump assembly has been overhauled. New Viton rubber seating in NRV. New pump cup leather + pump cup holder. The pump cup is made out of a Swedish pump cup holder equipped with a 16 mm pump cup leather for M1942 stoves. This gives you the advantage of easier swapping out a old pump cup leather for a new one if necessary. New rubber o-ring behind pump cup holder. The rubber O-ring that seals the pump tube to the tank was already installed by a previous owner and isn’t original. As a spare part there is a pump cup that wasn’t in shape anymore. This doesn’t appear to be original as well.
Despite this stove is perfectly usable for cooking and usage in the field it will benefit from further overhauling. The wick is partly disintegrated (parts came out of the tank while flushing out the old fuel) and is therefore not able to transport the fuel correctly from the tank to the burner head. The result is a flame that goes up and down all the time. Removing the fuel tube from the tank and installing a new wick is possible but requires quite some craftsmanship.
