Kerosene lantern from renowned German brand Feuerhand. This model 276 is equipped wit a extra storm hood (Sturmkappe). The German writing Garantiert Sturmsicher means Guaranteed stormproof. A popular item for regular camping and in the bushcraft and outdoor scene. The 276 model is in production for several decades and can still be bought brand new. Although the lamp isn’t made with the extra Sturmkappe any more these days. A thoroughly time proven design. The markings on both the fuel tank and the glass globe ”W. Germany” indicates that it was made in the time of East and West Germany.
Condition: No leaks. Wick adjustment works smoothly. Fuel cap can be opened and closed smoothly. Light surface rust just above the glas.

Extra info: A olive green version of this Feuerhand 276 Sturmkappe was used by the Dutch army under NSN number 6260-17-017-6935 during the 1960’s.
