Description
Completely new and unique designed backpack in the newly developed NFP ( Netherlands Fractal Pattern) camouflage. This is the successor camo pattern after the Dutch DPM woodland camouflage pattern that was used for backpacks since the early 90’s.
Very modern backpack of the current generation of Dutch army backpacks. It is part of the VOSS program. This stands for the Dutch ”Verbeterd Operationeel Soldaat Systeem”, in English: Improved Operational Soldier System. Designed for caring a personal radio, ant tank missiles, drones + loitering munitions etc. while moving in the field. All zippers have a strap that is equipped with a extra piece of rubber of easier opening. The bag has two compartments that can be fully opened by a U-shaped zipper. To prevent the zippers from breaking when the bag is stuffed full there are belts to tighten the backpack. The influence from modern travel backpacks can clearly be seen here. At the sides and fronts is Molle webbing for attaching pouches, canteen bottles and other equipment. Also there ar zippers at the sides for attaching 10 or 15 liter side pouches. At both sides of the large grip handle on top are openings behind Velcro for a water drinking drawstring line from a Camelbak or the antenna of a radio.
This backpack can be equipped with a click on system for attaching to a combat belt that act as a hip belt. For now it is a stand alone backpack without a hip belt. Backpack can be adjusted in shoulder height.
