Description
These boots were modelled after US paratrooper jump boots (M1948 combat boots) as used in the second world war and in Korea. Perfect for US airborne para re-enactment. Looks very similar to the Corcoran jump boots.
In the decades after WW2 the Dutch army used a mix and match from US Army, Canadian Army and British army equipment. Both re-usage of massive stockpiles that were left behind by the armies that fought on Dutch soil as well as direct copies or small variations of this equipment.
Size 42 (EU)
Condition: Judging from the inner and outer soles; the boots haven’t seen much usage. On most of these boots the profile under the boots have flattened. These have them still intact. Also inside the boots the stamps are still clearly viable. The leather is still soft. Only thing these boots needs are a pair of shoelaces and a bit of polishing. Light polishing or only waxing will probably give these boots a shiny but vintage appearance
Weight: 1,95 Kg.
