Description
One of the most legendary stoves ever produced. The SVEA 123, still in production today. This one is however from the time these stoves were actually MADE IN SWEDEN. The ones that are produced nowadays have not the best reputation since they are produced outside Europe.
This is the older model without the cleaning needle inside and with the small key for flame adjustment. Later models were called the SVEA 123R and are still newly produced today.
Burns on white gas such as Coleman Fuel or Aspen 4. Works by pre-heating the burner with alcohol so the pressure is build up without pumping. The longer the stove burns the hotter all parts become and the fiercer the flames. The key is there to turn the flame up and down. Pot-stands are suitable for small cups and canteen cups.
Condition: Brass is still bright shining, fuel cap holds pressure, flame can be turned up and down and above all the flame is very blue and evenly distributed. Noteworthy is that the windshield doesn’t have the engravings that you’ll find usually on these older Svea 123 models.
Size: 13 x 9,5 cm.
Weight: 505 gram.
