NRV washer (HDPE)

Description

Additional washer for tightening and later on easier removal of the NRV (Non Return Valve) in a classic camp stoves. These are modern replacements for washers made of lead. Lead washers are easy to pulverise by tightening to strong. These HDPE (High Density Poly Ethylene aka ”plastic”) washers will keep there shape and ensure a good sealing.

Size: Outer diameter 12 mm and inner diameter 7.5 mm. Thickness is 1 mm.

Condition: Brand new, unused item

Pro tip: Many classic camp stoves don’t use a washer at all. Since brass is a soft metal it will usually make a air and liquid tight sealing by metal to metal.
